RULES OF PLAY | CODE OF CONDUCT

1. BOTH teams bring a can of balls. Team serving first opens.

2. SPIN for choice of serve or return of serve only.

3. GOAL is to complete 24 games (3 sets of 8 games) with NO-AD scoring.

4. WARM-UP: Not to exceed 10 min. We recommend doing first-in on both sides for your first time serving instead of trying to do them in the warm-up.

5. SERVER ORDER: Keep order the same all the way through or it gets confusing.

6. UNFINISHED GAMES due to lateness are given to the on-time team only. *Applies when a player is late enough that it delays the start of the match.  If a player comes a few minutes late while warmup is still going on, then any unplayed games would still be split evenly. 

7. UNFINISHED GAMES for other reasons should be split equally. If there is an odd game remaining then spin for that game.

8. WINNER takes home the unopened can of balls. Runner-up gets the open can, i.e. the used match balls. 

9. SCORES must be recorded on-line after completion of the match via the email sent from TSL. 

DEFAULT MATCHES: Email ssprtennis@gmail.com with date, teams scheduled to play and who defaulted. We will enter the score as 16/8 for the non-defaulting team. We do not give all games for a no-show to the winning team as it unfairly skews the stats with acquiring games that were not actually earned during play.

SUBS must be coordinated by the captain of the team. You may use players not on your roster but they must be of the league NTRP level or higher. In emergency situations contact the other team captain ASAP if you cannot find a sub so they know what is going on.
